Will Smith and Jim Carey
Critics are now rating Will Smith in Seven Pounds and Jim Carey in Yes Man. Critics are saying that the movie for Will Smith is not doing it for them. Some critics say it’s good while others say it’s bad. Well, everyone is entitled to their opinion but I think that you do need to give the actors a break too because sometimes they are good actors but the plot is not doing them justice. Yes, if you act good in a bad movie then it’s not your fault. I think that the performances in Will Smith is great. I have no problems with the cast and they were great but the story is a bit I don’t know new you know. It’s not familiar to us yet. It’s a cross between sci fi and real life so it’s hard to give a good heart for it. Jim Carey on the other hand is doing extremely well.
I think that comedy is always welcome in theater. People like a good laugh you know. People love Jim Carey but also love comedy. Comedy is always a good genre to have as you look at pass TV success, a lot of long time show were comedy. People like to laugh and they’ll see a comedy or a sci fi but those are the two best genre. It looks like the day the Earth Stood Still is doing pretty well in box office.
